  • Helping Your Child--This website focuses on giving ideas to help you help your child at home.  The U.S. Department of Education created this series to include parents in the education of their children.  Here is the link:  www2.ed.gov/parents/academic/help/hyc.html
  • Compact for Reading and School-Home Links--Another website that has a huge amount of resources for helping your child to read.  While it focuses on Pre-K to second grade, there are hundreds of resources to ensure that your child is getting reading help at home.  The resources are free and downloadable to print and use at home.  Follow this link then choose the grade level for your child:  www2.ed.gov/pubs/CompactforReading/index.html
  • Discovery Education--Discovery Education has an entire section dedicated to helping parents find materials and information to help their child succeed at home.  There are homework help links and articles for parents to read about motivation.  This link will take you directly to the parent resources provided by Discovery Education:  www.discoveryeducation.com/parents/
